Sometimes I forget, our child is not mine. She has her own destiny, faith, hope, character, life, love, heart, emotion and so on.
Often I force her of something I think is the best.
However, I always remember this quote, that me as parent just have the tasks to teach, guide, love, show, help,and house her body and soul. And the last, hope nothing in return.
